    Sales Assistant/Project Coordinator, Interior Design

    Job summary:

    We are a vibrant, award winning, Interior Design and furniture practice based in central Cambridge. We have a variety of interesting projects in the education and commercial sectors. We are looking to enhance our growing team with a highly organized and numerate project coordinator / sales assistant, to assist with the winning and smooth running of projects and delivery/installations. This role includes liaising with clients and suppliers to prepare quotes, then project manage and deliver jobs on time and budget, with excellent customer service. The role also includes assisting with enquiries from our upcoming new online furniture shop, and other office admin tasks. We offer a flexible environment with a large degree of autonomy.

     

     Responsibilities:

    • Liaise with clients - Sales support / customer service
    • Help maintain supplier and client contacts, pricelists etc.
    • Negotiate prices prepare project budgets and quotes in excel
    • Order samples and maintain project samples
    • Place orders, check order acknowledgements
    • Liaise with design team
    • Project manage projects from start to completion
    • Organize and manage logistics / deliveries and installation team
    • Assist with web shop – customer service
    • Update CRM Database
    • Office Admin

     

    Knowledge, skills & attributes:

    • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
    • Excellent numeracy skills
    • Attention to detail and ability to concentrate in busy office
    • Word, Excel and Power Point
    • Microsoft Outlook
    • Substantial experience in office admin, purchasing processes and customer service
    • Degree or relevant experience
    • Interest in Interiors / Furniture market / technical aspects of furniture install
    • Interest in e commerce a bonus
