Tring Park School for the Performing Arts
The Tring Park School for the Performing Arts is set within the historic context of Registered Parks and Gardens and Grade II* listed buildings (Tring Park being a former home of the Rothschild family) and situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the Hertfordshire countryside.
A new building was commissioned by architects Burrell Foley Fischer, and Eve Waldron Design was selected to provide interior design input and to supply and install all the new furniture and window treatments throughout.
Furniture for the student accommodation was a bespoke design which was carefully detailed to provide as much storage as possible, be robust, long lasting and still fit within a tight budget.
A selection of oak, white and grey finishes compliment the building. Chairs and soft furnishings in greens and blues were selected to relate to the wonderful views of the trees and countryside and to work well with the brass cladding. Internal paint schemes are restful and conducive to concentration and relaxation.
Other areas of specialised furniture were also provided including drama storage and drama curtains, art cupboards and staff accommodation furniture.
"Eve and her team were a pleasure to work with... We are delighted with the result and the feedback from pupils, parents and staff has been overwhelmingly positive..."
Anselm Barker, Deputy Principal, Tring Park School
